PRIMARY PURPOSE 

This community-involved individual will develop strategies, tactics, and implementation steps to increase workplace campaign giving, corporate giving, and corporate sponsorship activities in assigned account portfolios. Successfully develops new and varied funding resources, achieving specified benchmarks and creating a consistent and positive experience for corporate donors. Develops and implements corporate donor recruitment, retention, and stewardship strategies in collaboration with the Resource Development team and the Vice President of Donor Engagement and Development ensuring donor growth and satisfaction. This position may be assigned an affinity group and will be responsible for leading, managing, and executing growth strategies.

Workplace Giving, Corporate Donations, and Corporate Sponsorships/Annual Campaign:

  • Manage an assigned portion of overall campaign portfolios (year-round) and effectively collaborate with Campaign Specialist(s) during campaign season.
  • Develop key relationships with company coordinators and leadership and integrate their requests with company campaign
  • Collaborate with volunteer leadership members of the Campaign Cabinet to advance campaign company leadership relationships and drive campaign goals.
  • Recruit and retain campaign
  • Assist with the development of campaign goals, integrate strategies, and successfully execute tools necessary to achieve increases in workplace and corporate
  • Cultivate relationships with company decision-makers and other individuals who influence corporate
  • Perform workplace campaign research, analyze, and communicate key trends, results, and opportunities to ensure continued campaign growth.
  • Work closely with corporate donors, volunteers, and internal departments to set and accomplish annual and long-term goals to attract and sustain resources and engage and recognize donors year-round.
  • Utilize CRM to manage proactive relationships, as well as gather and maintain accurate donor information.

  • Collaborate with team members on special projects involving workplace  campaigns, affinity groups, and
  • Collaborate with the Community Impact staff to understand and effectively articulate how campaign, leadership, and affinity group donor funds support UWECI’s work in the community.

Affinity Group(s):

This position may be assigned an affinity group associated with UWECI.  Tasks may include:

  • Lead monthly steering committee meetings including creation of the agenda and meeting notes.
  • Lead affinity group event planning.
  • Lead/Co-Lead monthly/bimonthly affinity group event subcommittee(s).
  • One-on-one stewardship of individual committee members and affinity group supporters.
  • Recruitment of new steering committee members.
  • Monitor affinity group campaign designations.
  • Leading affinity group fundraising effort.
  • Spread general awareness of UWECI and affinity groups in the community.

Level of Education: Associate Degree *Bachelors Preferred

Work Experience: (x) 1-3 years, (  ) 3-5 years, (  ) 5-7 years, (  ) 7+ years

Education Requirement: 5+ years of related experience will be accepted in place of required degree

Preferred field(s) of study: Non-Profit, Fundraising, Marketing, Business, Public Relations, Communications, or related field.

ACCOUNTABILITY & DECISION MAKING

This position must coordinate and communicate regularly with the Senior Manager, Workplace Campaign & Donor Engagement regarding workplace giving campaigns and the VP, Resource Development and President/CEO regarding the vision and strategy for leadership giving.
