We launched our United Way 2-1-1 Program on February 11, 2004. Around 30 people joined us on Feb. 11, 2014, to celebrate the milestone of the 2-1-1 anniversary.
2-1-1 Manager Chris Juett gave an overview of the service’s history and we heard from RaeJean, who has called 2-1-1 for help before. She said that she gave to United Way when she worked at Quaker. She has now called United Way 2-1-1 for help and calls it a community resource.
United Way 2-1-1 is a free, confidential service that connects individuals and families to community resources and the services they need, 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
