United Way 2-1-1 teams with partners for access to Certified Application Counselors for the Healthcare Exchange

More on United Way 2-1-1Based on the traffic on the Healthcare Exchange site we know that the need for Health Insurance is great. United Way 2-1-1 has teamed with community partners to provide individuals in Linn County and those who receive healthcare in Linn County access to Certified Application Counselors for the Healthcare Exchange. Starting on November 1, individuals will be able to contact the following agencies to set up appointments with Certified Application Counselors:

United Way 2-1-1 at 211 or 319-739-4211 or 1-866-469-2211 (United Way 2-1-1 will schedule appointments Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.)

Community Health Free Clinic – 319-363-0416

Hawkeye Area Community Action Program, Inc. – 319-393-7811

Linn Community Care – 319-730-7301

Linn County Public Health – 319-892-6000

Other community partners will be offering to schedule appointments for their clients with Certified Application Counselors at Community Health Free Clinic, HACAP, Linn Community Care and Linn County Public Health.

This collaboration will allow the partners to offer over 10,000 appointments through the end of March 2014.
